  Definition:

Bylaws - The regulations of a corporation that are subject to statutory law and the articles of incorporation, provide the basic rules for the conduct of the corporation's business and affairs.

Nonprofit corporation laws vary slightly from state to state.  The books below offer useful information regarding preparing bylaws.  Some of these books may be available at your local library, but are also available from Amazon.com  if you prefer to have your own permanent copy.
